Annotations
Basic breakdown of how RGC type names and how they are classified in CellMuseum:
- gc/ac = ganglion cell, amacrine cell
- m/b/t = monostratified, bistratified, tristratified
- a = asymmetric: asymmetic dendritic arbor
- r/d = regular or diffused: diffuseness of dendritic densities
- n/w = narrow or wide: expansiveness of dendritic arbor
- s/t = short or tall: breadth of dendritic densities (depthwise)
- o/f = ON or OFF: stratification layer of dendrites in IPL
- 1-10 = depth in retina: layer dendrites stratify in (10 is closest to GCL)
